Adjudicators
- Ross Winters
  - Ross Winters was Professor of Recorder at the Royal College of Music and then Head of Recorder at Birmingham Conservatoire. He has taught all age groups and abilities throughout his career. As a performer, he has given hundreds of recitals ranging from school halls to The Queen Elizabeth Hall and including many South Bank and Wigmore Hall recitals, recordings for BBC Radio 3 and two CDs of English 20th century recorder music.
    
    His repertoire encompasses Renaissance to contemporary styles. Since leaving Birmingham Conservatoire in 2012 he has developed further his teaching at Ashford School and has become an examiner for Trinity College. His local activities in Kent include directing a Baroque choir, an adult recorder group and performing with his instrumental group, Folkestone Baroque. He is a Musical Advisor to the Society of Recorder Players.
- Rachel Greenwood
  - Rachel Greenwood studied the violin with Peter Mountain and was a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain. She read music at Bristol University. She has worked as a freelance musician teaching, lecturing for the WEA, performing, writing and conducting.
    
    Several of her students have won awards or places in National Music Groups and she has been invited to Birmingham Conservatoire as a guest lecturer. Her adjudicating has taken her to many parts of the country including Ipswich, London, Aberdeen and Fort William.
    
    Publications include arrangements for strings, a Beginner’s Book Creeping Cat (Corda Music), 50 Ways to Practise Scales and Arpeggios (Piccolo Press), and reviews of educational material for The Strad, The Music Teacher and The European String Teachers’ Association. Rachel has served on the ESTA National Committee and directed the W. Midlands ESTA Festival.
    
    In 2000 she helped set up the Wyre Forest Young Musicians’ Platform and from 2001-2005 was conductor of Bewdley Choral Society. She has taken an active part in The European Piano Teachers’ Association and is currently a Convocation representative to Bristol University Court.

  - All music for the official accompanist must be submitted by 22nd February 2014
  - Substitutions into ensemble/duet classes at discretion of the secretary
  - More than one piece may be played in a class, as long as the maximum time limit for that class is not exceeded by doing so.
  - Prizes, not necessarily cups, will be awarded to winners of each class.
