PLEASE NOTE THAT IN ALL CLASSES STATED TIME LIMITS MUST BE OBSERVED.

OVER RUNNING WILL BE PENALISED.

Beginners String Solo (Class 11i)

Grade 2 and below. Not to exceed 3 minutes. Own Choice. Also open to non-competitive performers.

Transitional Strings - Solo (Class 12i)

Grades 3 & 4. Not to exceed 4 minutes. Own Choice.

Award:
The Arthur Alexander Trophy is awarded to the highest mark in classes 12i-13i


Entry Fee:
£ 6

Intermediate Strings Solo (Class 13i)

Grades 5 & 6. Not to exceed 5 minutes. Own Choice.

Award:
The Arthur Alexander Trophy is awarded to the highest mark in classes 12i-13i


Entry Fee:
£ 7

Advanced Strings Solo (Class 14i)

Grades 7 & above. Not to exceed 6 minutes. Own Choice.

Award:
The Mary Clapham Trophy


Entry Fee:
£ 8

Cello/Double Bass Solo (Class 15i)

Open. Not to exceed 6 minutes. Own Choice.

Award:
The Norman Cole Double Bass trophy to a promising performer. (Not necessarily the winner)


Entry Fee:
£ 7

String Duets, Trios, Quartets (Class 16i)

Open. Minimum of 2 and maximum of 4 performers. Not to exceed 6 minutes. Own Choice. Any combination of strings.

Award:
Instrumental Cup. (Medium)
