Please read the rules of the Festival and Vocal Section carefully.

This year the age of entrants is at 1st March 2016.

You may enter any class as a non-competative entrant. See Rule 14 of the Vocal Rules.

Unless otherwise stated, classes are open to Boys & Girls 18 years and under.

performances must not exceed 4 minutes and song(s) are the competitor's own choice.

(*) Denotes Championship Qualifying Class. Please see Classes 57V, 58V & 59V for details

Light Opera (Class 1v)

Can include Gilbert & Sullivan. Must be sung in the original key. Not to exceed 4 minutes.

Songs From Stage And Films (Class 2v)

Not to exceed 4 minutes. Not Light Opera or Gilbert & Sullivan. Costumes, props and movement optional in this class. Entrants are reminded that they are solely responsible for ensuring they have the permission of the copyright holder to use costumes, props or movement for songs that are not in the public domain. The Festival Committee accepts these entries on the basis that the appropriate copyright permission has been sought. Not to exceed 4 minutes. Own Choice from Victorian and Edwardian eras. (1840-1920). Date of the song must be clearly stated on the copy handed to the adjudicator.
